Chaguanas Government Primary was established in 1936 at St. Thomas Village, Chaguanas. It was relocated to Orchard Gardens, Chaguanas (current location) in September 2003 and has been facilitating the education of pupils in our quest for excellence in education.

Today, we are recognised as one of the top performing primary school both in our education district of Caroni and nationally.  We have been able to consistently produce pupils who have been placed in the list of Top SEA Performers over the past ten years.

The teachers at our institution must be commended for their dedication towards their responsibilities and their willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty.
