STUDENT LIFE

Sports:
We place strong emphasis on holistic education so we have a vibrant sport programme at our school.

Football:
A football programme was started in 2015 and has yielded great success for our boys.  Our school's under 12 team have been district finalist for 2017 and 2018 placing second on both occasions.  We extend heart felt thanks to our supportive parents and a special highlight to our parent coach Mr. Lloyd Gilbert Jr.

Track & Field:
Track and field has seen great success from 2016 to 2018.  Our school has earned the title of champion school at the zonal level for all three years.  In 2016, we registered with the NAAA and took part in the National Juvenile Championships and emerged with a gold medal in 'Cricket Ball Throw'.

Netball:
Netball is also an area we have been consistently participating in over the past ten years.  We have shown great improvement over the years and teams are fully aware that we are very competitive as the girls are now making it to many finals at a district level.

Music:  Steelpan

We are fortunate to have a music room filled with Steel Pan equipment.  Starting in January 2019, we were assigned a new music tutor by the name of Mr. Renaldo De Pieza. Mr. De Pieza has now expanded the Pan in the Classroom Programme to students from First Year to Standard Four. We also created history when we entered the Junior Panorama 2019 competition.  We did not make the finals, however our students made us very proud on the day of the preliminary judging.

Remedial Programme

We pride our accomplishments in producing top performers at the SEA.  However, not all of our pupils are strong academically so we have established a pull-out remedial programme headed by two enthusiastic and qualified teachers Ms. Shairah Mohammed-Ali and Mr. Shazad Mohammed.  The programme has already proven to be successful as some pupils have been able to be reintroduced to their main stream classrooms.
